Ned Tubberman, two girls
Mary Tubberman was one of the original Colonists of Pern. She was the wife of Ted Tubberman and the mother of Lucy Tubberman, Ned Tubberman, Peter Tubberman, Purman Tubberman, and several other unnamed children.
Mary Tubberman married her husband, Ted Tubberman, at some point before the Colonists first arrived on Pern. Approximately 8 A.L., her daughter, Lucy, was killed during the first Threadfall at Landing. When Ted was shunned for launching the homing capsule with a distress signal requesting aid against the will of the colony, she stayed with him and spent much of the time before the Second Crossing sequestered with him at their Hold, Calusa.
Appearance and Personality
Mary Tubberman was loyal to her husband and isolated herself as if she, too, had been Shunned. She became somewhat bitter at the way her family was treated.
