Fulmar Stone was a colonist on Pern. He was the head of mechanical engineering.
Biography[]
Fulmar worked under Paul Benden to get the twelve shuttles ready for landing. He later worked on keeping the sleds running and power packs charged for fighting Thread. He also monitored the progress of the students studying mechanical engineering.
Fulmar and his crews stripped the shuttles for parts to replace the worn parts of the sleds. He blamed himself for the sled crash in which Emily Boll was seriously injured.
Fulmar accompanied Paul Benden to see the dragonriders fight Thread for the first time.
Fulmar had a son, Fulmar Stone Jr., who became F'mar after becoming a dragonrider.
Personality[]
Fulmar was hard working. He and his team worked hard to keep the sleds maintained for fighting Thread.
