G'narish was Oldtimer Weyrleader at Igen Weyr in both the Eighth Pass and the Ninth Pass. His Weyrmate was Nadira.
Biography[]
G'narish accompanied the entire Igen Weyr when it traveled forward in Time with Lessa to the Ninth Pass. He was the youngest Oldtimer brought to the Ninth Pass. Even though G'narish was young enough to not be set in his ways, he tended to side with his contemporaries in most affairs against F'lar and T'bor. Over time, he became sympathetic of some of F'lar's suggestions. Then, after F'lar's duel with T'ron, when F'lar called out, "Do you support Benden?," G'narish indicated his willingness to stand by F'lar.
