He is the second command of Stores, settlers that originally colonized Pern[2][3].
Biography
He acted as Joel, super cargo on the Yokohama, during the Landing on Pern. He also had engineer background, which he passed on to his son, Ali Arthied. He worked very hard during the Second Crossing as Jim Tillek cargo master, his heart stopped working, but they were able to save him, his recorder was tuck inside of his vest, Jim told Zi Onglola, to tell Joel, after the black squall hit his fleet.
Personality and traits
He had a hard time keep up with Joel Lilienkamp[4], but he did what had to be done.
