Conar was the youngest son of Lord Holder Ibraton of Benden Hold late in the Second Interval.
Biography[]
When Benden's Harper Alagar died at the beginning of the flu pandemic, Ibraton took Conar to Harper Hall to keep him safe.
While Kindan was showing Conar around, they got to talking about Alagar's death, from what was said to be the flu, and they both commented that they had had the flu months back. Conar then told Kindan that Alagar had also had the flu months back.
Conar was good at drawing. He made friends with Kindan and Vaxoram. He helped them search the Records for information about the flu.
After Kindan went to Fort Hold to help with the people who were ill there, Conar helped with those who had become ill at Harper Hall, including Kelsa and Druri and Jassi. Conar also passed Kindan's request onto J'trel about bringing fruit from the Southern Continent, then helped J'trel with the delivery of the fruit, until the day before he died. After Conar died, J'trel revealed that Conar had skimped on his food to save the others.
Personality and Traits[]
When Conar arrived at Harper Hall, he had pale hair and a sickly complexion, possibly from the cold of between. It was later learned that, even though Conar's body was a bit sickly, his mind was quite sharp.
His voice was piping and his accent was soft, different from the standard speech of Fort Hold or the muted tones that all harpers learned. It reminded Kindan more of a High Reacher than of M'tal’s Benden sound.
