Boris Pahlevi was a colonist on Pern. He was an engineer and computer programmer.
Biography
When Thread began its fall on Pern, Boris and Dieter Clissman were tasked with taking all the data collected and creating a computer program that would predict Threadfall and estimate how long it would last on Pern. They were able to establish a pattern to Threadfall, allowing the leadership to plan its defense. Their data helped to confirm that Thread came with the Red Star.
Boris later helped Red Hanrahan plan the excavation of the caves that would become Ruatha Hold.
