Biography[]
Azeez's group traded with Fiona and T'mar after they brought Fort Weyr dragons and riders back in Time to Igen Weyr to heal, grow and train.
Azeez told Fiona that the medicines that had been found at Igen Weyr when they arrived had been provided by the traders. He also said, "The Weyrwoman who spoke to us earlier warned us that you would not accept the presence of fire-lizards."
It was later learned that it was Lorana who had taken Fiona and the dragons and riders back in Time to Igen Weyr. Before doing so, she had talked to Azeez and his mother and told them that, when Fiona and the others arrived at Igen Weyr, some dragons and riders would have injuries and there would be "younglings", so it would help if the quarters could be cleaned somewhat before they arrived.
While Xhinna was back in time at Sky Weyr with another group of dragons and riders, she took Azeez's grand-daughter Jirana to the traders' camp to visit Azeez. Jirana told Azeez that she had inherited her father Tenniz's "sight" and that she would Impress the "best queen on all Pern".
Personality and Traits[]
Azeez joked that in their time Fiona was still a very young girl.
Lorana noticed that Azeez had piercing green eyes, so like those that Tenniz had spoken of when describing his wife, and that Azeez's dark eyes were nothing like his daughter's; his features were more broad, and his build was large and massive, while Javissa's was thin and light.
