Aryar was a child at Telgar Weyr at the beginning of the Third Pass.
Aryar was one of the children who was allowed to sleep in the weyr with Fiona and Talenth when Talenth was exhibiting symptoms of the Dragon Plague. When Aryar saw something coming out of Talenth's nose, she said that she had heard that when a dragon dies, the rider loses half her heart with it. She then told Fiona, "You have my love, Weyrwoman! I'll help you grow your heart back!"
